Day 1 description
After arriving in Rome, your private driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you into the city to begin your Italy and Germany journey. Once checked into your hotel, head out together for a relaxed first afternoon exploring some of Rome’s central neighborhoods while adjusting to the pace of the trip.
Walk with your guide through areas around the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti, and Trevi Fountain while passing cafés, wine bars, local bakeries, and busy piazzas along the route.
Later in the evening, join a guided Roman food experience through one of the city’s local neighborhoods. Throughout the tour, stop at smaller restaurants and food spots to try fresh pasta dishes, Roman-style pizza, cured meats, local wine, and gelato while your guide explains some of the traditions behind Roman food culture. After dinner, return to your accommodation for the evening.
Day 2: Colosseum & Vatican City

Begin the morning with a guided visit to the Colosseum before continuing around the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with your private guide. Exploring Ancient Rome with a guide makes the large archaeological areas easier to follow while helping bring the stories of gladiators, emperors, and Roman public life into the experience.
After spending time around the ancient ruins, stop for lunch near the historic center before continuing into Vatican City later in the afternoon. Here, visit St Peter’s Basilica and continue through the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel while your guide helps manage the route through the busy museum sections.
The evening is spent in Trastevere, where narrow streets, wine bars, bakeries, and local restaurants create a much more relaxed atmosphere compared to the busier sightseeing districts. Spend time walking through the neighborhood with your guide before dinner and drinks in one of Rome’s traditional trattorias.
Day 3: Rome to Florence

Travel north to Florence this morning using Italy’s high-speed rail network before meeting your guide on arrival in the city. Once checked into your hotel, begin exploring Florence’s compact historic center on foot.
After arriving in Florence, head into the historic center with your guide to explore around Florence Cathedral, Piazza della Signoria, and Ponte Vecchio. Along the way, walk through smaller streets filled with cafés, wine bars, artisan shops, and local food stores while getting your first feel for the city. Florence is much more compact than Rome, so it’s easy to explore several areas on foot without needing to rush through the afternoon.
Continue into Florence’s Central Market, where food stalls, local produce, cheeses, meats, olive oils, and fresh pasta stands give a good introduction to Tuscan cuisine. The evening includes dinner at a traditional Tuscan restaurant where you’ll try regional dishes and local wines before returning to your hotel.
Day 4: Florence to Venice

Leave Florence behind this morning and continue north toward Venice. After arriving, transfer into the historic center by boat through the canals toward your hotel, passing historic buildings, bridges, churches, and smaller side canals along the way.
Once you’ve checked into your hotel, head out into Venice with your guide and begin walking through the city’s smaller canals, bridges, and backstreets before arriving at the Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal. Continue toward St Mark’s Square, where you’ll see some of Venice’s best-known landmarks, waterfront walkways, outdoor cafés, and the busy heart of the city around the basilica and lagoon.
Later in the evening, take a gondola ride through some of Venice’s quieter canals, where smaller bridges and residential neighborhoods give a different perspective of the city away from the busiest walking routes. Finish the day with dinner beside the canals before returning to your accommodation.
Day 5: Venice to the Dolomites

Your private driver and guide will collect you from Venice this morning before heading north into the Dolomites. The route gradually climbs into the mountains, passing forests, alpine villages, lakes, and winding roads as the scenery changes completely from Venice’s canals and flat lagoon landscapes.
Stop in Cortina d’Ampezzo for lunch and time exploring the town center, where mountain cafés, outdoor shops, and chalet-style buildings sit beneath the surrounding peaks. The town has a relaxed alpine atmosphere and gives a completely different feel from the Italian cities earlier in the trip.
After lunch, continue toward Lake Misurina, where you’ll stop beside the water for views across the surrounding mountains and toward Tre Cime di Lavaredo. There’s time for a lakeside walk and photo stops before continuing along scenic mountain roads and passing deeper into the Dolomites before arriving at your hotel for the evening.
Day 6: Dolomites to Munich

Your private driver will collect you from the Dolomites this morning before continuing north through the Alps toward Germany. The drive passes mountain roads, valleys, rivers, and smaller alpine towns before crossing into Austria.
Along the route, stop in Innsbruck for a few hours to explore the Old Town, see the Golden Roof, and walk through the colorful streets beneath the surrounding mountains. There’s also time for lunch and coffee in the center before continuing onward through the Bavarian countryside toward Munich later in the day.
After arriving in Munich later in the afternoon, begin exploring around Marienplatz and the surrounding Old Town, where historic churches, beer halls, and busy public squares sit beside modern city streets. The evening includes dinner in one of Munich’s traditional beer halls, where Bavarian dishes and local beer are served in a lively atmosphere.
Day 7: Neuschwanstein Castle Day Trip

Leave Munich behind for the day and head south into the Bavarian Alps with your private guide. The drive passes lakes, forests, rolling countryside, and smaller Bavarian villages before reaching Neuschwanstein Castle.

Throughout the afternoon, your guide will introduce different parts of Berlin’s history, from Prussian landmarks and World War II sites to Cold War locations and modern neighborhoods. Compared to Bavaria, Berlin feels larger, faster-paced, and much more modern, with wide avenues, contemporary buildings, and very different styles of architecture across the city.
Continue through areas such as Hackescher Markt and Mitte, where cafés, bars, bookstores, and local restaurants fill the streets around the city center. The evening includes time exploring local food markets and street food spots before returning to your accommodation.
Day 10: Berlin Departure & River Cruise

Day 10 description
Depending on your flight time, spend your final morning in Berlin exploring more of the city with your private guide before departure. Begin with a short Spree River cruise passing some of Berlin’s best-known landmarks from the water, including Museum Island, the Berlin Cathedral, government buildings, and sections of the historic city center.
After the cruise, continue through nearby neighborhoods with time for coffee, breakfast, or a final walk through central Berlin before returning to your hotel to collect luggage.
Your private driver will then transfer you to the airport, bringing your Italy and Germany journey to an end.
