Day 1: Florence Food & Culture Experience

Your foodie tour begins with a culinary tour of Florence and visits to the city’s Renaissance landmarks.

With your private guide, wander through the center of Florence, stopping at small bakeries, busy cafés, wine bars, and long-running food shops loved by locals. Taste Tuscan cheeses, cured meats, olive oils, and other regional favorites as you move between lively squares and narrow side streets. 

A visit to Mercato Centrale offers an introduction to regional ingredients and daily life, with fresh produce, handmade pasta, truffles, meats, and cheeses filling the market stalls.

The evening is reserved for a traditional Florentine dining experience, where dishes such as bistecca alla Fiorentina, ribollita, or handmade pasta are paired with Tuscan wines.

On day 2, you’ll enjoy a hands-on Tuscan cooking experience surrounded by rolling countryside landscapes.

Your private driver and guide will bring you into rural Tuscany, where you’ll visit a local market to select seasonal ingredients before continuing to a countryside villa or agriturismo.

Under the guidance of a local chef, learn to prepare traditional Tuscan recipes using regional ingredients and time-honored techniques. Depending on the season, dishes may include fresh pasta, slow-cooked sauces, crostini, or classic desserts.

Following the cooking session, enjoy a relaxed lunch overlooking vineyards and olive groves, paired with locally produced wines.

Return to Florence in the afternoon with time to enjoy the city independently during the evening.

Day 3: Chianti & Siena Culinary Journey

Day 3 description

Today, you’ll head out with your private driver into the Tuscan countryside, traveling through vineyard landscapes, olive groves, and quiet villages in the Chianti region. 

Spend part of the day at a local winery, where you’ll visit the cellars and enjoy tastings of Chianti Classico wines, regional olive oils, and produce from the surrounding area before returning to Florence later in the day.

Lunch is served in a scenic countryside setting surrounded by vineyards and cypress-lined roads.

Today is dedicated to some of Italy’s most famous protected food products.

Depart Bologna with your private driver and travel into the countryside surrounding Parma and Modena. Begin at a Parmigiano Reggiano producer, where you’ll learn how the cheese is aged and produced using centuries-old methods before enjoying tastings at different maturation stages.

Today, you’ll walk through Trastevere and central Rome with your private guide, eating your way between small bakeries, pizza spots, and local wine bars.

Day 9: Rome to Naples

Today’s journey follows the dramatic coastline of southern Italy.

Your final morning is spent relaxed before departure.
