On day 3, your driver will drop you off at the train station, where you’ll board the high-speed train to Bologna, known for its food culture.
Spend the afternoon walking through the historic center around Piazza Maggiore, food markets, and the older streets lined with cafés and traditional restaurants. Emilia-Romagna is known for fresh pasta, cured meats, Parmesan cheese, and balsamic vinegar, making Bologna one of Italy’s best cities for food.
The evening is left relaxed, so you can enjoy dinner in one of the city’s traditional trattorias before returning to your accommodation.
Day 4: Bologna to Verona & Lake Garda

Leave Bologna behind and continue toward Verona before reaching Lake Garda later in the day. Spend time exploring Verona’s historic center with your guide, including the Roman Arena, piazzas, and surrounding streets filled with cafés and local shops.
After lunch, continue north toward Lake Garda, where the scenery changes from city streets to mountain-backed lakeside towns and waterfront promenades.
Depending on timing, there may be time to stop in smaller towns along the lake before settling into your accommodation near the water for the evening.

Later in the day, head out onto the lake by private boat. Your private driver and guide will collect you from Lake Garda this morning before continuing east toward Venice in your luxury vehicle. The route crosses Northern Italy through changing countryside, passing vineyards, smaller local towns, roadside cafés, and wide agricultural plains before reaching the Venetian Lagoon later in the day. From here, transfer to Venice by boat and continue through the canals toward the historic center.Â

On day 8, you’ll depart Venice and head north into the Dolomites with your private driver and guide.Â
The first major stop is Cortina d’Ampezzo, one of the Dolomites’ best-known mountain towns. Spend time walking through the center where cafés, outdoor shops, and chalet-style buildings sit beneath the surrounding peaks. The town has a relaxed alpine atmosphere and works well as a base for exploring the region.
After lunch, continue further into the Dolomites toward Lake Misurina, where you’ll stop beside the water for views across the surrounding peaks and toward Tre Cime di Lavaredo. From here, continue toward Alpe di Siusi, where open mountain pastureland stretches beneath the surrounding peaks.
