You’ll pass through narrow streets, small squares, and canals on the way to Rialto Bridge, one of the oldest bridges in Venice. It’s also one of the best viewpoints in Venice, with stunning scenes over the Grand Canal.

Continue along the canal edges and smaller crossings, with time to stop at cafés or shops as you go. In the evening, enjoy your first dinner in Venice with classic dishes such as risotto, seafood, or cicchetti at a local restaurant by the water. Our local team would be happy to recommend authentic Italian restaurants we love!

Continue by boat to Burano, another island in the lagoon, known for its brightly coloured houses. The buildings line the canals in rows of different colors, making it one of the most recognizable places in the area. Walk through the streets, with time to stop at small shops or cafés.

Return to Venice by boat in the afternoon, crossing the lagoon back towards the city.
