Amalfi Coast Boat Tour Itinerary
Your day begins with hotel pick-up by your private driver and guide. You’ll travel along the coastal road to reach your departure point, typically Amalfi or Positano, depending on your location.
At the harbor, your guide will introduce you to your skipper and walk you through the plan for the day before you board your private boat.
Positano Coastline: Clifftop Views from the Water
Departing from the harbor, you’ll begin cruising along the coastline towards Positano. From the water, the town reveals a completely different perspective, with its buildings rising steeply from the shoreline.
You’ll pass beneath the main beach and church dome, with time to slow down for photos before continuing along the coast.
Praiano & Furore Fjord: Quiet Coast & Natural Landmarks
As you continue, the coastline becomes quieter and less built-up. Passing Praiano, you’ll see smaller beaches and rocky coves that are only accessible by boat.
You’ll then reach the Fiordo di Furore, a narrow inlet set between steep cliffs. The boat will slow here, giving you time to take in the setting and capture photos before moving on.
Marina del Cantone (Nerano): Seaside Stop & Lunch Break
Midway through the experience, you’ll cross towards the Nerano coastline and dock at Marina del Cantone, a small fishing village known for its relaxed atmosphere and waterfront restaurants.
Here, you’ll step off the boat and have around 1.5 to 2 hours to enjoy lunch by the sea or take a short walk along the beach. This is a quieter and more local setting than the main Amalfi Coast towns, making it a good place to pause without crowds.
Swimming Stop & Return Cruise
After leaving Nerano, you’ll continue along the coastline, stopping in a quieter stretch of water for a swim. Your skipper will choose a suitable location based on conditions, away from busy boat traffic.
This final part of the cruise is more relaxed, giving you time to enjoy the water, sit back on deck, or take in the coastal views as you make your way back.
Return to Harbor & Transfer Back
At the end of your time on the water, you’ll return to your original harbor.
Your driver will be waiting to meet you and will take you back to your accommodation along the Amalfi Coast, bringing the day to a close.
